So, who is this person, anyway?
Hi! I'm Allison Corbett, a user experience (UX) designer at Tuition Management Systems (formerly a division of KeyBank, and now a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Marblehead). I work on an Agile scrum team designing internal and external J2EE and .NET Web applications for educational financing products.
I consider myself blessed to do something I love, something that combines creativity and analysis and allows me to use both my right and left brain every day.
In my copious spare time (ha!) I write fiction and poetry. I run rivers in my whitewater kayak and play kayak polo with New England Canoe Polo. I design software, costumes and props for roleplaying games like Valhalla and theater productions through ACTAndover.
I live with my husband, John, and our daughter born in spring 2010. I'll refer to her as the Empress (for reasons that should be obvious to anyone who has children).
